The Kiln Change
In a kiln-change glaze, the surface color is not painted on in advance. It forms inside the firing, when glaze, heat, and flame meet in the kiln and the molten surface begins to move. Streaks of brown bleed into rose; rims darken and soften like worn stone. It is a color you cannot order twice — only wait for.
Rock Brown & Rock Pink
Two glazes, both quiet and earthy. Rock Brown (岩棕) settles into a warm, stony brown — the color of river rock and roasted coffee. Rock Pink (岩粉) is a soft, dusty rose, like stone warmed by the sun. Both carry the retro, mid-century feel of the DAIMU studio's design.

The mug holds 320 ml — enough for a proper latte, a pour-over, or a slow afternoon tea. The handle is generous and the body rounded, with a weight that sits steady on the table. It is made for the desk, the breakfast table, and the quiet hour after lunch.
