A 60 ml cup that turns an ordinary tea break into a small ceremony. This Jingdezhen tea cup pairs classic blue-and-white painting with falangcai enamel color, finished with a fine band of silver wire inlay along the rim.
Craft & Materials
Thrown from high-white porcelain clay and fired at over 1,300°C, the cup has a dense, scratch-resistant surface that resists staining and cleans easily. The blue-and-white pattern is painted by hand beneath the glaze, then accented with enamel color and a thin silver wire inlay — a detail that adds a quiet metallic edge without overpowering the porcelain.
Size & Use
- Capacity: 60 ml — sized for gongfu-style brewing
- Best for: puer, oolong, and black tea, or other concentrated infusions
- Pairs with: a gaiwan or small teapot for a full gongfu tea set
- Also works as: a tasting cup or a small display piece
Care
- Hand wash to protect the silver wire inlay
- Safe for hot liquids; do not microwave (metal inlay)
- Dishwasher not recommended
- Rinse after dark tea to prevent staining
Handmade in Jingdezhen
Each cup is finished by hand, so the painted pattern and silver inlay vary slightly from piece to piece — a natural sign of the craft, not a flaw. Made in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China, it carries on a blue-and-white tradition that has defined fine Chinese ceramics for centuries.
Add this cup to your cart for a focused, mindful tea ritual — or gift it to the tea lover in your life.
